The young boy, named Jun Jun, met his death after he failed to write an essay of a thousand characters on self-criticism after the teacher caught him talking in class.
On failing to complete to write the essay, the teacher told him to jump from the 30 floors building, which he did.
The young boy fell onto a car that was parked at the bottom of the building. The incidence occurred in Jinjiang, China just near a building where the boy’s family live.
Resulting to his death, on one of his textbook he had written a sentence telling the teacher that he couldn’t do the essay.
Investigation by the China Police is ongoing following the tragic incidence. The incidence has raised worries on the strict discipline that has been witnessed in the Chinese school system.
It is said that respect to authority in the schools puts pupils under pressure to observe any orders given to them.
The boy’s parents displayed a banner outside the school compound; on it was a message saying that the teacher had forced the little boy to jump from the building.
Possibly Jun Jun was the only child in the family given that China has imposed strictly to a one-child policy.
